Hello! I'm Mariel
I am an award-winning graphic designer with experience in magazine layout, print production, and multi-channel brand design. In my most recent role, I was a Magazine Layout Designer for the Global Electronics Association (formerly IPC), where I designed and organized 80+ page monthly and quarterly trade magazines.
I also freelance for Longwood University, designing brochures, posters, handouts, t-shirts, and promotional materials for academic departments and campus events while maintaining consistent brand standards.
Previously, I spent five years at WTWH Media, progressing from Graphic Designer to Senior Graphic Designer. I led design for national B2B publications, collaborated with editorial and production teams, and earned multiple ASBPE Azbee Awards, including national and regional honors across 2021–2024.
My background also includes packaging and marketing design for Shurtape Technologies and creative work for BrandMuscle and BGSU Recreation and Wellness. I bring strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with strengths in layout, data visualization, and visual storytelling.
I’m also actively involved in community leadership, serving as the President of my HOA Board.
